The acquisition was carried out by Boago Emerging Markets (Pty) Ltd, a special-purpose vehicle created for this transaction and wholly controlled by Acute Investments Holdings (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Acute Global Limited.
Westsure Insurance Botswana will continue to operate as a general insurance provider licensed by the Non-Bank Financial Regulatory Authority. Our aim is to build on the solid foundation established by Western Insurance Botswana, leveraging our expertise and resources to deliver exceptional insurance solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.
We are also delighted to introduce Mr. Victor Biki Nnoi as the newly appointed CEO of Westsure Insurance Botswana.
